"Beef Boys" Menu

This menu I designed was for my "Graphic Design 2" class. I wanted my menu to be designed for a casual dining restaurant specializing in meats. I needed to find a way to show that “Beef Boys” was family friendly restaurant with tasty foods.

 

For this project I needed to make sure that the menu would be intriguing to the customer and make them excited for our food. In order to do this I made sure all the text was well organized with a clear hierarchy throughout the piece. Because this is a family friendly restaurant I needed to make this menu appeal to children too. My solution was to illustrate a silly mascot for “Beef Boys” along with illustrations of several other menu items. My hope was that using these illustrations and the hierarchy of text would help children find the food they desired.

 

When making this project I tried to put myself in a fathers shoes when picking out a restaurant for his family. I would want to chose a restaurant that all members of my family could agree on, so that’s what I tried to create. Of course I would also look for a restaurant with good hamburgers so I decided that would be their main dish.
